Of course I had to scrap my son with the Quad County Trophy. Paper is from the DCWV (Die Cuts with a View) High School Stack. Im a HUGE fan of DCWV papers as you can see how cool they are and sometime's make scrapping so easy. With cool papers like these all you need is a photo, some matting and embellishments and whalla, awesome page.

I like to keep things mostly simple and then add to it. I have a problem with not wanting to add to much to a layout because I think less is more. I do love me some thickers though. Background paper I can't remember where it came from but the plaid and cut out trees are from the DCWV Fall Stack 2008.

Love this picture of my husband and I on the boardwalk in Ocean City. I had this old kit in a drawer that was just perfect for it.

Another easy page with some DCWV papers. These are from the Doodlin' Around stack. All I needed to add was some doodling, journalling and some felt ribbon.

At Scrap Freak, Monica posted a link to a flower tutorial on the Pink Paisley site. Super cute flowers made with patterned paper, a large brad and a tiny rubber band. I just had to try it out and then made two more to add to this layout. Papers are all from the DCWV Citrus Stack. I decided to doodle my flourishes instead of using my flourish stamps for a hand doodled look since I'd outlined the flowers and all the paper pieces as well. I love how it turned out.

Thanks for lookin'!
