Memory Works Site is Back and Running

I am so excited. After about 2 years of working out of the home, I finally got my Memory Works site back today. I never left Memory Works but with Tim's job slowly screwing us over the years, I was working full time and at one point two jobs. Now that I am unemployed and looking to go to school soon I thought to myself "What better way to make some extra money that to jump back into Memory Works full time" and so I did. You can check out the site HERE and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I have a lot of projects to do in the next few days and with this weather, Im sure no outside activities are going to keep me from doing them so watch for updates.

Scrap Purging

I went through my scrap stash today and finally took pics and posted some things for sale that I never used or don't want any more. I honestly had a whole box full of stuff that needed to go, I just hadn't had the time. I posted some of it on ScrapFreak today so whatever doesn't sell, I'll post here.

Haven't done much the last few days but I did get to scrap some challenges from the Scrap Freak New Years Day crop.

More to come as there are a TON of January Challenges at the Freak this month. WHOOT!

Enjoy!

Two Great Giveaways

At my Freaky Friend Sarah's blog

And at That Scrappy Girl

Christmas has come and gone

WOW that was fast. Seemed like I shopped forever and then BAM! It's over!

The kids had a wonderful Christmas and so did I seeing them open their gifts, their eyes wide with happieness. We had our traditional Christmas Eve dinner at my parents, spent Christmas day at home for the 1st time in 16 years, got the stomach flu and spent that evening and the following day on the couch in misery.

I am finally feeling normal again and desperately need to get off my duff and get to cleaning, doing laundry and helping Brandy organize all this Barbie stuff she got for Christmas. Wow that's a lot of tiny pieces.

The kids have been busy playing but as all of us got the stomach flu other than Brandy, we haven't done much else.

I've been super busy this past month preparing, shopping, baking and so on and am so so hoping to get some scrapping in finally. My scrap studio is lonely and has been calling my name for months. I think after all is finished around this house, Mama is in need to create something.

Now... On to the New Year!

Today I shall scrap, bake and clean house...

all in one day. I may even finish the laundry. Im stranded at home with no car. Tim's blazer had a super flat tire this morning so he took my Malibu. Kids made it to the bus, barely and even though I am perfectly capable of changing a flat tire, it's only 26F and I do not have a big enough garage to pull the Blazer inside to change it. I was supposed to go to my friend Jen's photo studio today to help get all the Santa pictures processed from the weekend but nothing I had planned for today is going to happen.

So I sit here with cuppa coffee #5 I think, Facebooking, browsing my fav sites and thought OMG I CAN SCRAP TODAY!

A scrappin' I have not

and I so wanna. Exhausted by the time everything else is done and here I am at the end of another day, scrapless. Oh well. Maybe tomorrow. I've got the laundry almost done and the fam puts their own stuff away so all I will have is mine and Brandy's.

Considering putting up Christmas decorations but, have you ever just not been in the mood yet? Is it me or is this economy and being on unemployment just extremely depressing? Sad yes it is and I know we'll pull through but dang this still sucks eggs.

Maybe I should make some cookies. Chocolate cookies. Yea chocolate always helps. Maybe some no bakes!!
